I never trust Mods.. I always played the game straight for fear these things or Worse can happen to my game. I can only advise talk to others or you tube this mod in use before you install it. Always research.. Don't Blindly install Mods without checking if its tested. Either way i don't mess with mods too much and if I do, I always check to see if it works with others before i touch it.

With that Statement Said. I sugest finding all the install Folders that the game put into youre hard Drives in steamapps Folder and also in you're User profiles Roaming Local files. And delete them after you Uninstall. So uninstall one more time. then clean the leftover trash before reinstalling it. There is probably something left behind by the mod you cant see.

After the fresh install Verify youre files for any corupted files before you run the new fresh install, Hope this works for you. Good Luck.

I think you may have mods installed locally rather than subscribed via the steam workshop. You should just be able to delete the mods from the folder described in that documentation.
