So after a newfound passion for Hyper / Supersonic Flight. But the current jet engines don't do it for me :( I think that a scram jet would benefit everyone, as making scram jets available would be easy as it just requires the need for air to be compressed at high-speed Eg. Jet engine gets the plane up to speed, and enable scramjet and disable the main jet engine. and all jets could use scram jets for a faster flight across the map (If needed for balancing reasons you can make the plane less efficient with a scram jet the less aerodynamic it is Eg. a C130J Hercules is very inefficient and slower than a sleek F-35 Scramjet

then I think heat resistance would be a cool effect and you must control the plane's speed (Heat Can be VERY unpredictable at high speeds)
