The new dlc/update has broken steam engine fire boxes so that they now super heat any nearby players until they die, also steam engine pistons seem quite broken

Well It's pretty realistic if you think

The game seems to be treating fireboxes as actual fires, where even being near them causes damage to the player. Even with firefighting gear on your health still deteriorates over time. It's impossible to operate a train unless you turn invincible.
