i was thinking of a few ideas that might make Stormworks a more reinforced feeling of a coast guard management game. Here are my suggestions:
Marshalling wands: marshalling wands would be handy equipment for players to use on multiplayer servers. they would be stored in a small equipment inventory in pairs. they would be battery operated, and require recharge when power is too low. these new items would be well used in multiplayer servers where players can "marshal" multiple vehicles around. such as at airports and heavy traffic areas in dark conditions. Along with the wands would come special "direct" emotes. These emotes are used with the wands to show another player what to do. i.e. start engine, turn left, power down, etc.
High-Visibility Vests: These vests would have silver bands on them that will reflect light from up to 200 m away. They would also be useful in multiplayer servers where players can spot other players from long distances. They can also be used in single player for a more realistic outfit detail.
Reflective paint: this paint is like a high-visibility jacket for vehicles. the paint though can reflect up to 300 m and also is used in spotting other vehicles.
(the reflective stripes on the high visibility jacket would be silver, just like in real life. though the paint would have to be on a special pallet as the colors could very, and the jacket could be any color. Though neon colors are the most ideal.)
Hunger/Water bars: these new aspects would require the character to eat and drink. Food and water could also be traded, thus adding a new form of transporting goods throughout the world of Stormworks.
