We are on a mission to create new types of design and simulation games, invent new mechanics and gameplay, and bring new experiences to games. This means being inventive, creative, and working hard - and the most important ingredient is talented people who share this vision. If that sounds like you, join us.
We are a small team, working from our office in Leamington Spa, UK. The vibe is focused, quiet, and relaxed. We work hard during the day, and we stay organized, plan well, and this means we don't work late, or weekends, or crunch. We are developer-owned and make our own decisions without publisher or investor approval. Our games are all about 'what you can do', and 'how it feels', rather than high-def graphics and big brands. Our ambition is to make new experiences possible in design and simulation games, and make great software that our players enjoy.
We create games using our own game engine, and tools. We write code mostly in C++ and our own programming language. This is about building the technical capability to make different types of games, but also about having simple and easy to use tools to build with, and making products that we are able to maintain ourselves.
We are looking for an experienced or senior software engineer to help build major engine and gameplay components. This role will involve the responsibility of designing and developing new systems, and finding simple and maintainable solutions to problems that have not necessarily been solved in other games.
We are looking for a graduate software engineer with strong core programming skills and passion for building and sandbox games. This role will involve responsibility, and developing solutions and new software features, to a high quality.
